Evening with the Stars at Norfolk After 5
The Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce is rolling out the red carpet from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, for Norfolk After Five, one of the largest networking events in the region. It’s an “Evening with the Stars” of the Hampton Roads business and arts communities in the grand lobby of the magnificent Harrison Opera House with performers from The Virginia Opera, Virginia Ballet, Todd Rosenlieb Dance and Hurrah Players and musical entertainment, great food, paparazzi, and even a few “movie” stars.
Tickets are $30 for members and $40 for non members. Register online for a $5 discount at www.hamptonroadschamber.com. Members of Sync757, the Chamber’s young professionals group, and other young professional organizations can receive an additional $5 discount.
Virginia Stage Company and Virginia Opera Special packages
The Virginia Stage Company, is offering a special Norfolk After 5 theater package to see the 8 p.m. performance of “Centennial Casting” for $50 person.
The Virginia Opera is offering a special Norfolk After 5 opera package to see the 8 p.m. Nov. 14 performance of “Elixir of Love” for $50 per person.
