A Storyland Christmas presented by Masterworks Productions
A Hampton Roads tradition, Masterworks and Academie de Ballet present “A Storyland Christmas” this holiday season at the beautiful Harrison Opera House on December 3rd!
Join Old Mother Hubbard and her children as they journey from their home in the Storybook Forest to the village- to pay taxes to mean Mayor Miserly and to visit the Nativity. On the way, they visit the Toy Shop, where toys come to life and perform for them! They visit the Sugar Plum Fairy at her magical Candy Palace, before walking through a beautiful winter wonderland. All in hopes of showing Mayor Miserly the wonders of Christmas!
“We are thrilled to bring A Storyland Christmas back to the Harrison Opera House in Norfolk, VA,” said Melissa Moore, Director. “This production provides an excellent educational opportunity for students to learn about the wonderful classic stories older generations enjoyed reading while rejoicing in the true reason for the season.“
