Back by popular demand, Masterworks is presenting “A Storyland Christmas” at the Harrison Opera House for the Holiday season! A Hampton Roads tradition since 2007, this heartwarming story brings characters to life through acting and dance. Classical ballet of the sugarplum fairy and her friends, as well as tap dancing and precision dancing is sure to please all ages! Your favorite storybook characters are back and must deal with the constant negativity from “The Crooked Man” (Mayor Miserly) who despises Holiday Cheer. Join Old Mother Hubbard and her children as they journey from their home in the forest to pay their taxes and see the Nativity play in town!  Delight in their adventures through the Toymaker’s Shop, Candy Palace, and Winter Wonderland - all on a delightful adventure to show Mayor Miserly the wonders of Christmas!
