At 6’5”, cellist Amit Peled is a commanding physical presence on the stage, but his artistry is equally profound and charismatic.  Experience Dvorak’s beloved Cello Concerto performed by Peled, whom The New York Times says plays “with a warm, glowing tone” and a “seductive timbre.”  Also on the program are Copland’s Symphony No. 3 with the familiar melody of his Fanfare for the Common Man and the World Premiere of Libby Larsen’s Four on the Floor for full orchestra.
